Seeking an experienced Sales Consultant to join a large and well-established IT services company. Our client specialises in IT governance, infrastructure design, implementation and support, integrating technologies including virtualisation, Cloud and communications to deliver a solution that provides tangible benefits to the businesses they work with.

The company have been offering IT services for just over 2 years and the current team has over 100 years of combined experience.

 

Role Purpose:

The main purpose of this role as Sales Consultant is to create and close new opportunities and increase revenue growth via new account development.

As an experienced Sales Consultant, you will ideally have a strong understanding of IT products, software and services and be able to bring in new business.

 

Main Duties of Sales Consultant:

  • Attend nationwide client meetings to understand clients’ needs.
  • New business development.
  • Expand and up-sell on all opportunities to secure new business.
  • Focus on value added business rather than a short-term hit.
  • Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships.

 

Essential Requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence
  • IT Industry Experience
  • Understanding sales and costing
  • Business development background
  • Proven relationships in the industry
  • Very driven and enthusiastic
