MAINTENANCE ENGINEERS

A Dorset based food manufacture are looking to recruit 2x Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineers (1x Electrically biased and 1x Mechanically biased) for their production facility based in the Poole / Bournemouth area.

As a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer you will provide engineering support to the production area and be responsible for reactive and proactive maintenance of plant, equipment, and any auxiliary systems.

 

Role:

  • 1x Electrically biased Maintenance Engineer and 1x Mechanically biased Engineer
  • Panama shift – Days and Nights (12 hour shifts)
  • Opportunity to work in a modern food process manufacturer

Key responsibilities of Maintenance Engineer:

  • Assist team to work towards maximum plant and equipment efficiency so downtime is minimised
  • Ensure planned engineering tasks are delivered on time and in full
  • Ensure good repair / manufacturing practices and procedures are followed
  • Ensure completion of planned maintenance documents / CMMS
  • Work closely with production staff to achieve daily targets
  • Contribute to cost reduction initiatives to drive efficiency and process improvements

 

Experience and skills required:

  • Qualified maintenance engineer with C&G’s or NVQ Level 3 or ideally ONC / HNC level
  • Multi-skilled, mechanical and electrical skills / experience
  • Apprenticeship trained
  • Proactive attitude to solving issues and supporting production
  • Food manufacturing experience would be very advantageous
