Due to expansion of the well experienced existing team, we are looking to recruit both an electrical maintenance engineer & a mechanical maintenance engineer to work within the Aerospace industry. You will be machining engine parts for our client who is a first tier supplier to Rolls Royce and Air Bus. The Darley Dale plant is undergoing 3 million pounds investment into the site over the next year to fulfil a bursting order book.

  • Working a two shift pattern 6am-2pm 2pm-10pm

As a maintenance engineer you will be working with a diverse work load; i.e. Forge, CNC Lathes, Ultrasonics and Facilities. We are looking for an apprentice trained, multi-skilled engineer to work on shifts as required, providing breakdown and maintenance cover on a varied range of machinery and equipment. Ideally with a high level of understanding of pneumatics and hydraulics. If you have worked on CNC, Lathes, NDT Processes or Forge Industry including basic fabrication experience, this would be an advantage.


Skills you will need to be successful:

  • Good problem-solving/organisational skills.
  • Worked in a factory environment.
  • Apprentice trained – to the equivalent NVQ  Level 3.
  • Experience of working in a forging or CNC fault finding and repairs would be an advantage.
