ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

• 3 on 3 off 12-hour day shift pattern

An experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer is required for a successful, profitable and stable Leicester manufacturing business.

We are looking for a qualified Electrical Maintenance Engineer, but it is just as important that you fit in with this friendly team. To be successful with this team you must have a proactive approach, willing to go that extra mile to support your team and the business, and to always be looking for ways to improve, rather than make do.

Technically, if you are an experience Electrical Maintenance Engineer with proven experience of processing equipment/automated packing lines, service equipment including boilers and pneumatics, and have previous industry experience within a high-volume pressured manufacturing sector this would be great! Food industry experience is not essential, training will be provided.

To be a successful multi-skilled maintenance engineer you will have the following skills and experience:

• Be a qualified maintenance engineer, with strong electrical skills.
• Ideally, you will be apprenticeship trained.
• Competent in electrical maintenance engineering.
• Proven experience of processing equipment / automated packing lines, service equipment including boilers and pneumatics.
• Previous industry experience within a high-volume pressured manufacturing sector.
• Food industry experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
• Flexible reliable manner and able to work on own initiative.

As a multi-skilled maintenance engineer your duties will include:

• Maintaining food processing equipment and automated packing lines.
• Servicing facility equipment including boilers/lighting/power/ pneumatics/plumbing.
• Pro-active and reactive maintenance duties.
• Diagnose to circuit diagram level faults on electrical and electronic systems.
• Liaising at all levels in a professional manner across all departments.
