Seeking an Internal Business Development Manager to join a leading UPS, generator and fire suppression solution supplier. The office-based role will be based in Sheffield and business opportunities would be all over the UK and in Europe.

To be successful as a Business Development Manager you must be driven, proactive, confident, enthusiastic and be very results orientated. The role will be playing a key part to the growth of the business, as it will bringing on purely new business and generating leads.

The suited new member will ideally have a background in telesales, business development, internal/external sales or account management. Sales experience is essential and industry knowledge is desired.

The working hours are flexible, but the role is 40 hours per week in the office.


Duties of the Business Development Manager:

  • Generate new business leads
  • Manage new enquiries
  • Develop new relationships with new clients
  • Work closely with the account management team to identify and pass over new opportunities in a professional manner
  • Arrange meetings for the external team to attend
  • Report and document all enquiries onto the CRM system
  • Manage project opportunities
  • Sales forecasts and pipeline
