Seeking a Business Development Manager to join a leading UPS, generator and fire suppression solution supplier. The main office is based in Sheffield however, this role will be a working from home position due to wanting the new BDM to live in the South of England to develop business opportunities in the South. Travel to London 2-3 days a week will also be required.

To be successful as a Business Development Manager, you must be driven, proactive, confident, enthusiastic and be very results orientated. The role will pay a key part to the growth of the business as it will bringing on new business and expanding current customers/clients.

The suited new member will ideally have a background in business development, internal/external sales or account management. Sales experience is essential and industry knowledge is desired.


Duties of the Business Development Manager:

  • Generate and identify new business leads
  • Manage new enquiries
  • Develop new relationships with new clients
  • Work closely with the account management team to identify and pass over new opportunities in a professional manner
  • Attend business meetings
  • Manage project opportunities
  • Sales forecasts and pipeline
