A well-known globally operating manufacture are looking to recruit an experienced multi skilled electrically biased Maintenance Engineer for their production facility based in Nottingham.

As a multi skilled Maintenance Engineer you will provide engineering support to the production area and be responsible for reactive and proactive maintenance of plant, equipment, and any auxiliary systems.

Role:

  • Electrically biased Maintenance Engineer
  • Double Days – Monday to Friday
  • Opportunity to work in a modern manufacturing site
  • Working on plastic injection moulding and CNC machinery

Key responsibilities of Maintenance Engineer:

  • Assist team to work towards maximum plant and equipment efficiency so downtime is minimised
  • Ensure planned engineering tasks are delivered on time and in full
  • Ensure good repair / manufacturing practices and procedures are followed
  • Ensure completion of planned maintenance documents / CMMS
  • Work closely with production staff to achieve daily targets
  • Contribute to cost reduction initiatives to drive efficiency and process improvements

Experience and skills required:

  • Experience in a production / manufacturing environment.
  • 18th or 17th edition qualification.
  • Apprenticeship trained and NVQ Level 3 or ONC qualification in an electrical discipline.
  • Additional Mechanical qualifications preferable
  • Experience on injection moulding or CNC equipment, robots and a knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics beneficial but not essential.
  • Experience in plastics tooling would be advantageous
