Hold the sherry this year, the Wagstaff Team would like some cocktails please. Better still lets learn the artistry and alchemy of creating the perfect cocktail, obtain liquid intelligence and become graduates in the Master Class of cocktail making at the High Line New York Bar & Lounge, Birmingham.
As a pre celebration for Christmas and the coming new year, Ruth and the team had a great night out at the Resorts World, Birmingham. After a full week of recruitment, the highs and the lows, it was a perfect end to the week.
In a bake off style “Mix Off” – the team went up against each other, to see who could make the tastiest cocktail. Stuart being a engineer, often added ingredients to the given recipe, always striving for perfection. They made a Big Appleberry a concoction of Cognac & berries, a Chelsea Girl a fine blend of Absolut, Chambord & bubbly – to name a few. Each having a different favourite. When secret Santa stops by the office at the end of the month, I wonder how many cocktail sets will be unwrapped.
After graduating the Masterclass, the team went on to enjoy sizzling fajitas & festive nachos at Las Iguanas. A delicious menu with all the sparkle of South America. Move over mulled wine, Magnifica cachaça has landed!
